Judy - Founder & CEO

Outgoing, Fun, Loving

Hello! I’m Judy. As the proud Founder and CEO of Move Your Doggie, I lead a wonderful team committed to delivering top-tier pet care services in Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa in the Durham Region.

I come from a background in law enforcement, with a rewarding career as a retired Police Officer. This foundation has lent a unique perspective and a profound sense of dedication to my venture into the pet care industry.

In addition to this experience, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Diploma in Law and Security Administration. I also possess Pet First-Aid and CPR certifications from the Saint John Ambulance, ensuring the utmost safety and care for your beloved animals.

Today, my main focus lies in delivering excellent customer service, driving our business’s growth, and steering our dedicated team towards achieving our mission and vision.

As evidenced by Sophie, my Mini Dachshund, and Oscar, my charming cat, my personal life is filled with a deep love for animals. I can confidently say that the same passion is shared by my team and I when taking care of your furry companions.

I look forward to the opportunity to offer top-quality service to you and your pets, and I’m excited to help contribute positively to your pet’s life.

In addition to all this, I’m a total pet lover! I used to have a cute bunny named Batman and a lovable Yorkie named Mr. Big. They were my fur babies and simply the best!

Nicole - Client Care Specialist

Hi there! I’m Nicole, the ultimate fur-lover! My heart is as big as my love for our four-legged pals — especially the canines! My daily dose of happiness comes from my 13-year-old Papillon/Pomeranian, Rhys, who fills my life with cuddles and infinite joy. I’m on a mission to make the world a better place for all critters, working with rescues, and even traveling to provide spay and neuter clinics for cats and dogs in need.

My background is rooted in the tech sphere with various administrative and operations roles. This journey has allowed me to perfect the art of delivering top-notch, friendly customer service. I believe in the power of going above and beyond to make your experience the best it can be.

When I’m not hard at work or spending quality time with my loyal, furry co-pilot, I’m hitting the road for epic trips (always with Rhys happily tagging along). I’m a softball enthusiast, living for the warmer months when games are in full swing, and I am an unapologetically proud Leafs fan!

I’m here for any questions you may have, so don’t hesitate to connect. Looking forward to providing you with the warm, dedicated, and pawsitively pawesome vibes I bring to the table!

Sarah - Client Care Specialist Assistant

Adventurous, Engaging, Responsible

My name is Sarah, and I have a passion for animals of all shapes, sizes and species! My boyfriend and I are the parents of two crazy and very spoiled kitties, who have a strange love of cupcakes. Whenever I go anywhere, animals are drawn to me, but that’s never an issue! I am comfortable and confident with any dog, regardless of the size or temperament. I quickly learn how to instantly connect and bond with your pets by building trust, as I want to ensure that I give them the best care possible.

I am also certified with St. John Ambulance for Pet First-Aid and CPR. I am very excited and looking forward to going on adventures with your pets!

Alice - Dog Walker

Energetic, Trustworthy, Patient

I’m Alice and I love animals of all kinds! My love for animals started as a child, always surrounded by dogs and cats. My interest in dog- walking started when I lived in Spain where I owned a vegetarian cafe. In my free time I walked and boarded numerous dogs of all sizes, from Yorkies to Mastiffs and Pitbulls. I enjoy working with dogs to improve behaviour through positive reinforcement, lots of exercise and playtime. My favourite part   of the job is seeing dogs with behavior issues learn to trust me and improve over time! I    currently own an American Bulldog named Phoenix, who is learning how to socialize with people and other animals after having had some negative experiences in the past.

I also have experience with small pets and reptiles as I also have a cat, turtles and a snake. These many opportunities I’ve had to work with different pets has taught me the importance of focusing on each animals’ individual needs and figuring out the best way to help them to have a positive experience. I am full of energy and excited to meet you and your pet!

Mary - Dog Walker

Hello, my name is Mary. I love dogs and enjoy spending time with them. Ever since my dog passed away I began to miss being around dogs. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and I was missing it. I also have experience in the Veterinary medicine field as I graduated as a Veterinary Assistant in 2010, and I worked at an animal hospital for a few years.

I love all animals and have experience working with cats, dogs and horses. I am very happy to spend my day with your pets.

Hello, my name is Marissa. Growing up, I have always had a love for animals and have many of my own. Shown in my picture is my late dog, Max. He was an Australian Blue Heeler/Jack Russell Terrier who lived 16 amazing years! I also have 4 cats – Emmie, Skye, Sophie and Kramer. In addition to experience in my personal life, I have also held a Kennel Assistant position at a veterinary clinic and am a weekly volunteer at a local cat adoption centre. Through the centre, I have fostered many cats and recently helped a pregnant mama birth 7 baby kittens! As for my educational background, I completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Health Sciences and minoring in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario.

Following my BA, I completed a post-graduate certificate in Exercise Physiology at Niagara College, where I played women’s volleyball. Now, I am back in Durham Region and eager to care for your fur babies!

Lucas - Dog Walker

Hello there! My name is Lucas. I have grown up around animals all my life. I had a family cat for 18 years. And I lived in Iqaluit, Nunavut for a few years where I volunteered at the Humane Society as a dogwalker. It was such a great way to meet new pups, and stay active outdoors. I am very passionate about fitness and love incorporating that with my love for animals. Happy to go for longer strolls if needed, in any weather! I have spent most of my life in Durham region and can’t wait to meet all of your lovely pets! Am comfortable with all types and sizes of dog.

Sam - Dog Walker

Hi My name is Sam. I truly love spending my time with animals, specifically dogs and cats. I feel a combination of happiness, comfort and calm when I am around them. I grew up in a family with multiple dogs and cats, so they are seen as more family members rather than pets to me. Currently I work full time as a Project Coordinator but love spending time with dogs as an outlet to my busy work life. Shown in my picture is my dog Zara, she is a mixed breed whippet/lab and a rescue from St.Lucia. We like to spend our weekends discovering and exploring the many different trails in Durham Region.

Kim - Dog Walker & Pet Sitter

Hello there! I’m Kim. After a fulfilling career span of 33 years in dentistry, I spent a year in retirement and quickly realized that I needed something to fill my time. That’s when I found this wonderful opportunity.

Being a lifelong dog Mom, I have experience with diverse breeds ranging from Shitzus to Bernese Mountain dogs. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in pet training, both at home and training facilities. My love for dogs even led me to participate in showing Champion Sheep dogs.

Recently, I became a pet grandma to two adorable Ragdoll cats, Alfie and Ellie, who I absolutely love spoiling. Now, I’m eagerly looking forward to extending my love and care to your beloved fur babies too!
